We are in a time of change. The lines between East and West, male and female, black and white are blurring; conventional lines are being redrawn.

Drag Queen. Also known as Female Impersonator. Skag Drag. Gender illusionists. Historically ostracized and enduring decades of confinement to back alleys, bars and cabarets, we find these men coming out of the shadows at this time. They are our friends, neighbors, and families. It is only the fearless expression of their feminine side that separates us.

As viewers, we are invited to step into a space where lines of gender fade. It is in this space where compassion and understanding reside.
